Upholstery cleaning 7 Years, 8 Months ago
Hi Everyone

Can anyone tell me the best stuff to use to clean the carpets, upholstery and curtains in my van? Can I just use the same sort of thing you would use in your house on sofas and curtains or are there better or more specific products out there?

All help appreciated!

Hi it really depends on how dirty and how much you want to pay, the best method is to steam clean all items and you can hire one from most BQ or similar I am not to sure of the cost, If you lived near swindon I have a professional steam cleaner left over from the days when my wife and I ownes a cleaning company and before we sold up,
Or you can buy some Vanish foam cleaner and scrub this into your upholstery and carpets just make sure that you do not make things to wet other wise it will take a long time to dry.
I hope that this is of some help to you

Hi Steve

Thanks for the reply. Stupidly I didn't think about steam cleaning, I was just thinking about products.

Thanks for the very kind offer of your steam cleaner, but I do have one somewhere (now to get up in the loft and dig it out!). Will get out there and give it ago over the long weekend.

Cheers
