Hi Ken

Yes I can't believe parts like this are so hard to come by. Here's a couple of sites I have used in the past:

www.partsgateway.co.uk/

www.247spares.co.uk/

They're quite standardised but you can sometimes be lucky

Let us know how you get on!

Cheers

Ian

Hi there Ken / Ian

I have a 1993 Hymer based on Fiat Ducato with 2.5D (non-turbo) engine, and I am trying to find a replacement exhaust manifold for it as the current one has a badly corroded flange preventing successful sealing to flange on downpipe.

Can you help with possible places to find a replacement. I have tried the usual websites that go off and find a part for you, but so far have not had any replies.

I have also Tried No.1 Spares site that was suggested in this thread, but there are no parts left.

I will consider buying new, but have so far drawn a blank on places to try as my local Fiat dealer said that part is no longer being made and there are none in stock anywhere in the country (at Fiat dealers). I notice from this thread that you were offered new ones and wondered who actually had new ones in stock......?

All suggestions and help gratefully received as I am due on a ferry to France in 6 weeks!!!

Thanks

Tony

Hi there Ken

Many thanks for the quick reply, much appreciated.

I did investigate getting a salvage part through these Find a Part type website, but no hits from any of them. In the end I decided to search on the internet for a new part. I struck gold in Google using the Fiat OEM part number for the manifold (7301274) which was very kindly supplied by my local Fiat Dealer. I found about 4 or 5 different German websites that sold brand new manifolds and eventually selected one with what I thought had the best price, including shipping. I placed the order late on Saturday and have today (Monday) received a confirmation email saying that the part is on its way via UPS and should arrive on Thursday. All in, the new part cost me a reasonable £180.

Whilst on the site I also noticed that they sold a whole load of other parts for my 1993 2.5D Fiat Ducato based Hymer.

The company I selected can be found at the following web address:

www.axel-augustin.de/

Hopefully all being well the part will arrive and will be fitted early next week. I'll let you know how I get on.

Best regards

Tony
